Why go trekking in India?

India is truly an assault on the senses in every way, a hurricane of sounds, smells, and colour where nothing is as it seems.

With an incredible array of people, history, and every imaginable type of landscape, India is a simply magical destination for adventure travel.

For the mountain lover, we head to the north and explore another side to the vast Himalaya range in Ladakh. Here there are some of the world's finest mountains to explore and they offer an excellent introduction to Himalayan mountaineering and are a definitive Ladakh adventure.

Magical India - Wonderfully different.

"From the moment we booked someone was on hand to answer any queries. We had advice on the kit we needed and training requirements to ensure we were fit for the trip. On arriving in India we were very impressed with the level of organisation and how smoothly everything ran".

Your Indian Experience

Landing in India, you will get a culture shock. With contrasting landscapes, vibrant and incredible food and crazy, loud cities, India is a thrill to the senses! Its pulse-pounding streets are exhilarating, fascinating and intense all at once. From bustling journeys and raucous rickshaw rides, to uncovering awe-inspiring monuments and encountering the endless scents of spices and incense, India is the perfect place for a real adventure.

Our trips are based from an area in the North of the country - Ladakh meaning “land of high passes”. A more relaxed feeling away form the busy streets of Delhi, Ladakh is located in between the Kunlun and Himalayan Mountain ranges. It’s remote, rugged and beautiful, with a mixture of Buddhist and Muslim inhabitants and a strong Tibetan culture. We land in the friendly and picturesque town of Leh to start our treks amongst the jagged peaks and Hidden Valleys of Ladakh and focus our efforts on climbing Stok Kangri at 6153m
