What do you need to know about Abseiling?

For those looking for a real challenge and wanting to push themselves.

With venues across the wider Lake District, from small rock outcrops to 120 foot of vertical cliffs. You'll wear a harness and helmet for protection and attached to ropes anchored at the top of the cliff as you control the speed of your own descent.

Originally used to aid climbers and mountaineers to retreat from a climb, Abseiling can be a stand-alone activity but is best combined with a rock climbing session to get a full experience - all you need is a go for it attitude.

Abseiling is a perfect family activity as everyone can have a go. A superb option for small groups and school parties especially when conbined with a Rock Climbing session.
