HOW DO WE CHOOSE OUR PARTNERS?

We are frequently approached by companies interested in working with us or providing equipment, this means we are fortunate enough to be able to work with the best companies available.  Equally, we need to partner with companies in order to add an additional dimension to some of our programmes. We don’t just work with anybody though.

It is imperative to ensure that whoever we partner with to assist in the delivery of our programmes carries the same professional ethos as us. Ultimately, you the participant will see the quality in what any 3rd party provider is offering.

The key goal of our equipment partnerships is to ensure that you, our participants, have access to the best possible kit to optimise your learning experience. Important factors in selecting a partner is build quality and functionality. Our programmes place a huge burden on equipment. None of our leader would be happy to use kit that was not built to last and function well in the conditions they work in. This is why you can trust and have faith in the products we use.

We would like to thank all our partners. We have a superb working and social relationship with them and long may it last.

5 Ways to Wellbeing for young people: What if mental health was built into adventure?

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is often celebrated for building resilience, teamwork and independence. But look a little closer, and something deeper emerges. Its structure aligns remarkably well with the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Take Notice, Learn, Move and Give.
