I started off my career as a teacher but realised that it was the outdoor part of the job which I loved the most. I am passionate about the environment (I am also currently studying for an environmental Master’s degree) and I love seeing people thrive in the outdoors while developing a closer relationship with nature.
After a particularly lengthy day’s walk in the Pyrenees (I slightly underestimated how long a big ascent would take…), pitching my tent next to a beautiful remote lake at the top of a mountain with just the marmots to keep me company as the sun went down. Well earned, believe me!
This isn’t very hardcore, but I have to pack my silk eye-mask to stop myself from waking up at 4am in a tent on midsummer mornings!
