Trekking
DISTANCE: 11 miles

A big day out on your way to the summit of Scafell Pike among some of the very best of the Lake District.
Expect sprawling views into some of the Lake District’s most famous valleys and impressive rock scenery as the team traverse England’s highest ridge to the summit of Scafell Pike standing at 978m.
The route is a more remote approach to the mountain and takes in some the truly impressive sights. The rewards are glorious. On a clear day you get impressive views down into Langstrath, Borrowdale, Eskdale and Wasdale. It's that perfect combination of rock architecture, lofty positions and dramatic distant views and best of all because it's an out and back route you get to walk it twice.
