Silver DofE Expedition packages - what can we offer?

Our Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award Expeditions build confidence, teamwork and independence.  Taking place in outdoor environmentwith a level of challenge appropriate, and safe, for this level of Award. 

Practice and Qualifying Silver Expeditions are available with a focus on either walkingcycling, canoe / kayak.

Not a school or group?  Not to worry, we also run Open Expeditions for Silver and Gold.

What group equipment is available to use?

Preparing for a Duke of Edinburgh Expedition can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to the kit list. Included as standard with our Expedition programmes for schools and groups is the use of our high-quality, Expedition-approved equipment.

What group equipment is available to use?

  • Tents (2 & 3 person)
  • Stoves & fuel 
  • Pans
  • First aid kits 
  • Maps and map cases
  • Group shelters 
  • Coloured rucksack covers 
  • Spare rucksacks and other kit also available 

The Adventure Element have taken the workload out of our DofE provision. Their expertise and knowledge makes the whole process really easy to handle. The instructors are great, and their support for our young people is superb. The tracking devices along with the high quality equipment provided makes our lives easier and gives parents a real piece of mind.
