Taking part in a multitude of activities including climbing, abseiling, weaselling and bottle rockets, your aim is to reach the finish line with the most points to earn your crown of glory.

Event Summary
Gathering teams in the Burbage Valley, the exhilarating Adventure Race begins as each team heads out on foot to 'Walk and Talk' and plot their plan for the day. You will be embarking on a challenge that sees you hike, climb, abseil, weasel, play games and compete to win the most points at the end of the race.
Teams can collect points in a number of different ways with individuals playing to their strengths to tackle the physical or cognitive challenges that lay ahead. There are also penalties which will see the teams forfeit points. Each team is assigned an instructor who will keep track of your points on your Control Card and aid the team with basic navigational instruction.
Once you have left the Race Briefing you will need to take everything you need to be outside until the race finish including your lunch.
Teams meet at the finish line by 16:00 sharp. At the finish line each team will hand in their control cards to the Race Directors and then all participate in a mystery activity. After this activity the Race Directors will calculate which team is the winner. Prize giving will take place at the evening meal in Buxton.
