Open Gold DofE Expedition packages - what can we offer?

You are nearing the end of your Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) journey. Completing the Gold Award Expedition will bring a huge sense of achievement!

Whether you’re joining alone or with friends, our Open Gold programmes will develop teamwork, build your confidence, give you responsibility and enable you to learn many new skills in an outdoor environment.

How do our Open Gold Expeditions work?

Participants on Open Expeditions often don’t know each other, so we will create the groups in which you will work to complete your Gold Award Expeditions - a great way to meet new people and form lasting friendships.

As part of the programme, all participants will complete a period of training, followed by a Practice and then a Qualifying Expedition.

Our DofE Open Gold Expedition programmes include:

  • Training / Refresher
  • Practice Expedition
  • Qualifying Expedition

You have the option to book individual elements or complete the full Expedition experience with us, the choice is yours.
